He was predeceased by: his wife Gill Ashey; and his son Donald Jr.. He is survived by: his children, Donna Lee (Foster), Mary Ayala, Pearl Harry, John Ashey (Donna) of Springfield, Christopher Bettro (Antoinette) of Chicopee, Jane Ashey of Westfield and Tony Hagood (Cindy); his stepdaughters, Debbie King, Cheryl and Karen Fountain; and his friend Alice McHugh. He is also survived by 31 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
