David E. Goggin Obituary

He was predeceased by: his parents, David A. Goggin and Marguerite Goggin (Comer); his sister Marguerite Allen; and his brother-in-law Phillip. He is survived by: his wife Joan D. Goggin (Donovan); his children, Joanne M. Taylor (Paul Pirnie) of Feeding Hills, David J. Goggin (Margie Nicklaw Goggin) of Feeding Hills and Patricia M. Twining (Jeffrey) of Feeding Hills; his grandchildren, Matthew Taylor (Kelsey), Victoria Sheehan (Patrick), Joshua Goggin (Kerry DeForge), Zachary Goggin (Casandra Campion), Andrew Wynne, Marissa Slavik (Kyle) and Laura Wynne; his great grandchildren, Rory, Madelyn Taylor, Parker Sheehan and Sophia Slavik; and his brother-in-law John J. Donovan (Barbara) of West Springfield. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins, friends and extended family.
His Committal Service with United States Marine Corps Military Honors will be private for his family at the Massachusetts Veterans' Memorial Cemetery in Agawam. His family will receive friends at the funeral home for a WALK-THRU Visitation on Thursday, February 11, 2021 from 5 p. m. to 7 p. m. Please note that masks are required, social distancing must be observed and funeral home and church capacity are limited due to state regulations.
His family requests that memorial donations be made in his memory to the Sacred Heart Church Renovation Fund, 395 Chestnut Street, Springfield, MA 01104.
