We are sad to announce that on December 1, 2024, at the age of 83, Christine M. Bakes (Springfield, Massachusetts) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Christine's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Christine has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Goraj and Mary Goraj (Fabian). She is survived by: her husband William Bakes; her son William Bakes (Claudia Bakes) of Belchertown; her brother Thomas Goraj (Dolores) of Indian Orchard; her nephew Mark Goraj; her daughter Olivia (Missy); her grandchildren, Eileen and Hunter; and also, Cynthia Patten (Phil) of Wilbraham, Kaitlyn, Jennifer and Kevin Patten.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery (421 Tinkham Rd, Springfield, MA 01129).
