Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Cheryl Downie of Springfield, Massachusetts, who passed away at the age of 73, on October 26, 2020. She was predeceased by: her parents, Adolph Soverow and Edna Soverow (Fournier); her husband David A. Downie; and her close friend Elvis. She is survived by: her children, Todd Downie of Agawam, Mary Downie of Westfield and Michelle Downie (Wayne Gennette) of Wilbraham; her brother Dr. Gary Soverow (Mali) of McLean, VA; her nephews, Jonathan and Christopher Soverow; her brother-in-law Robert Downie; her nieces and nephews, Dana and Heather; her sister-in-law Nancy Kenyon; her children, Albert and Amanda; and her cousin Erin O'Leary.
Masks, social distancing and all state gathering restrictions will be adhered to.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to support Neurosurgery.
