He was predeceased by: his parents, Cleveland Burton and Blessie Mae Burton (Lang); and his siblings, Rodney Burton and Beverly Burton. He is survived by: his wife Catherine Adams Burton; his children, Eboni Adams of Springfield, MA, Michael Adams (Tessa) of Great Barrington, MA, Darcell Burton Springfield (Tashala) and James Burton (Diana) of Springfield, MA; his siblings, Tommie Burton of Springfield, Cleveland "Junior" Burton (Tiger) of Westfield, MA, Billy Burton of Pittsfield, MA and Warren Burton of San Francisco, CA.; his grandchildren, Devahn, Bailey, Sydney, Tanisha, Hezekiah (Hez), Mya, Zavion, Aaliyah, Brianna, Elayjah and Josiah; and his great grandchildren, Quinnci, Veyda, Amina and Layla.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Byron Keenan Funeral Home & Cremation Tribute Center (1858 Allen St, Springfield, MA 01118).
