She was predeceased by: her father Carlos Melendez. She is survived by: her mother Maria Vazquez; her children, Porfirio Burgos, Jr., Wendy Morera, Carmen Y. Burgos and Judith Flores; her siblings, Miguel Laboy, Manuel Santiago, Olga Santiago, Rosa Santiago, Mayra Santiago, Norma Santiago and Claribel Santiago; her grandchildren, Carlos N. Flores, Roshawna S. Flores, Damian Burgos and Yadrian R. Martinez-Burgos; and her godson Emmanuel D. Santiago.
