Arlene M. Brown-Jenkins Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Arlene M. Brown-Jenkins in Springfield, Massachusetts, who passed away on February 24, 2025 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Arlene shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Arlene farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She is survived by: her parents, Rufus Brown and Helen Brown of Connecticut; her husband Kevin D. Jenkins; her daughters, Cassandra Ann Brown Freeman (Jesse Freeman) of South Carolina, Calesha Brown of New York and Lashana Brown of Florida; her stepchildren, Tashanda Epps, Lanetta Stiles, Kevin Jenkins Jr. and Maurice Jenkins; and her brother Leonard Brown. She is also survived by 31 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.
A wake was held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mission Church (20 Bowdoin Terrace, Springfield, MA 01109). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
