The memory of Ann Quimby Southworth (Springfield, Massachusetts), who passed away on February 9, 2025 at the age of 93, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Quimby (Bruyn) and Horace Alonzo Quimby; her husband John H. Southworth; her brother Irving Quimby; and her son-in-law David Bourdeau.
She is survived by: her children, David Southworth (Ann M.) of Springfield, Polly Southworth of Longmeadow and Peter Southworth of Longmeadow; her grandchildren, John Southworth, Emily Bourdeau (Tommi Hurme), Daniel Bourdeau (Angeliky Santos), Blair Southworth, Story Hungahunga (Apollo) and Hallie Southworth; her great grandchildren, Valtteri and Helmi Hurme; and her friend Jill Hartnett.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Forastiere Smith Funeral & Cremation (220 N Main St, East Longmeadow, MA 01028). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the South Congregational Church (45 Maple St, Springfield, MA 01105).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Blandford Historical Society -- The White Church Fund, 2 North St, Blandford MA 01008 or to South Congregational Church, 45 Maple St, Springfield MA 01105.
