Amalia Lopez Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Amalia Lopez of Springfield, Massachusetts, who passed away on January 29, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Faustino Vega and Dolores Caraballo; her husband Frank Lopez; and her siblings, Paula, Minga and Heriberto.
She is survived by: her children, Lillian Villaran, Lydia Rivera, Linda Villaran, Antonio "Tony" Villaran, Geraldo "Gerry" Villaran, Andre Perez and George Perez. She is also survived by her 33 grandchildren, 50 great grandchildren, 8 great-great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Brunelle Funeral Home (811 Chicopee St, Chicopee, MA 01013). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 11:15 AM at the Fairview Cemetery (687 Front St, Chicopee, MA 01013).
