She was predeceased by: her parents, Isaac Best and Della Best (Hatch); her husband William T. Coles (Billy); her brothers, Johnnie S. Hatch, Harold B. Hatch and Isaac Best Jr.; and her uncle Joseph Best (Lovia).
She is survived by: her siblings, Best Coles, Archibald Best (Helen Thornton) and Mildred Ann Best; her sister-in-law Sylvia Coles of Buffalo, NY; her cousins, Shirley Jones Gillyard (Bishop John Gillyard) of Newbern, NC and Leo Best (Bobbie Ann); and also, Travis, Leo R. Jr., Darryl E. Jr., Deborah L. and Darlene Y. Best. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
