He was predeceased by: his parents, Rosario Girard and Yvonne Girard (Dion); and his siblings, Gilles, Roland, Claude, Fernand, Dennis, Guy Girard, Theresa Turgeon and Yolande Langlois.
He is survived by: his wife Pauline F. Girard (Mercier) of Springfield; his son Mark Girard of Springfield; his brother Jean Raymond Girard of Japan; and his grandchildren, Maxine and Tyler Girard. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
