He was predeceased by: his wife Claire Jalbert (Troy). He is survived by: his children, James E. Jalbert, Jr. (Wilma) of Matthews, Jeffrey M. Jalbert (Wendy Schlegel) of Paxton, Lisa M. DiBonaventura (Michael Sr.) of Spencer and Laurie A. Phelan of Spencer; his grandchildren, Jessica O'Day (Patrick) of Rutland, Sean Phelan (Alexandra), Michael DiBonaventura Jr. (Elizabeth) of Rutland, Sara Cornacchioli (Domenic) of Spencer, Jonathan DiBonaventura of Spencer, Anthony DiBonaventura (Samantha) of Spencer and Monique Jalbert; and his brother Joseph Jalbert of Charlton. He is also survived by several sister and bother in laws; many nieces and nephews.
