Blanche A. Richard Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Blanche A. Richard of Spencer, Massachusetts, who passed away on February 11, 2025, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Blanche may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Blanche touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her husband Romeo J. Richard; her siblings, Joseph, Evelyn and Paulene; and her parents, Joseph and Emma Robidou (Remillard).
She is survived by: her children, Robert Richard of West Brookfield and Annette Welch (William) of Spencer. She is also survived by 2 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild as well as many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Varnum Funeral Home (43 E Main St, West Brookfield, MA 01585).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Food Pantry at Mary Queen of the Rosary Church, 46 Maple St., Spencer, MA 01562.
