He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Scott-Smith and Shirley Desmond; his son Robert Daniel Scott-Smith; and his siblings, Richard Johnson and Jean Smith.
He is survived by: his children, Carrie Ertl (Eric) of Lakeville, MN, Sarah Scott-Smith of Southwick and Brian Scott-Smith (Krysten) of Agawam; his siblings, Ann Bessey (Richard) of Woronoco, Linda Moynihan, Beverly Bickford (Michael) of Greenville, ME and Thomas Scott-Smith (Lauri) of Southwick; his sister-in-law Patricia Johnson of Southampton; his grandchildren, Harper, Blake, Evelyn, Makenzie and Theodore; and his former wife Cindy Scott-Smith of Southwick. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
