She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Owen and Hazel Owen; her husband Lester Herzig; and her sister Sally Ford (Owen). She is survived by: her children, Peter Herzig (Sandra) of Chester, Karen (Joseph Ball) of Granville and Carol (Stephen Sama) of Windsor; her grandchildren, Keith Herzig (Cindy), Scott Herzig (Karen), Jodie Gaugh (Michael), Jameson Ball (Shannon), Benjamin Sama (Erica), Katherine Sama and Elizabeth Sama; her great grandchildren, Kaitlyn Lemoine (Steve), Emalie Herzig, Tyler Herzig, Madelyn Herzig, Alexander Gaugh, Samuel Gaugh, Lily Gaugh, Jillian Gaugh, Joseph Ball and Charlotte Sama; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Samantha Ivey (Daren), Jacob Reynolds (Brooke) and Rachel Rogg; and her close friend Carmella. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
