She was predeceased by: her husband William D. MacKinnon, Jr.; and her parents, Ernest Brown and Evelyn Brown (Hoyt). She is survived by: her children, Robert S. MacKinnon, Karen Reeney of Lowell, Jean M. Lane (Michael) of Southwick and Pamela A. Carey (Christopher) of Glastonbury, CT; her grandchildren, William MacKinnon, Rebeccah Edison (Jeremy), Shannon Lane, Daniel Lane, Michaila Carey (J. T. Clough) and Patrick Carey; and her siblings, Marge Magill (Thomas) of Wilbraham and Jim Brown (Mary).

Memorial donations in Marilyn's name may be made to SR Caritas Cancer Center, Patient Services Fund, 271 Carew Street, Springfield, MA 01104.
