He is survived by: his wife Charlotte; his children, David Michael Nelson of Murfreesboro, TN, Ryan, Brooke and Steven Nelson (Amy); his grandchildren, Paige and Dana of Canton, CT; his children, Lori Nelson (Lynda) of Mashpee, MA and Tracy Shields (John); his grandchildren, John, Sophie of Moorestown, NJ and Kate of Saint Albans, VT; his stepdaughter Rebecca Scotka (Russell) of Madison, CT.; and his father-in-law Robert. He is also survived by two great grandchildren; brothers and sisters in-law; many nieces and nephews.
