Charles Wood Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 13, 2019, at the age of 95, Charles Wood (Southwick, Massachusetts) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Wood and Eva Wood (Blain); his siblings, Barbara Thomas and Herbert B. Wood; and his siblings-in-law, Joseph Carpowitz, Robert Thomas, Bert Lodi and Elaine Herther.
He is survived by: his great grandchildren, Paisley and Piper; his wife Margaret Wood; his children, Richard of Easthampton, Noreen Jachym (Robert) of Westfield, Steven (Susan) of Westfield, Jeffrey Wemette (Karen Whitney) of Adams and Dawn Babula (Robert); his grandchildren, Mark Jachym (Liz Emmett) of Westfield, Amanda Rogers (Travis) of Westfield, Charles J. Wood of Cape Cod, Nicole Purdum (Justin) and Tyler Babula (Cara); his great grandchildren, Erin Jachym of Westfield, Grayson, Griffin Babula and Oliver Purdum; his sister Lorraine Carpowitz; his brothers-in-law, Richard Girard and Jack Herther; and his pet Bailey. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
