He was predeceased by: his father Julio Melguizo; and his brothers, Gilberto, Cesar and Julio. He is survived by: his mother Celia Yepez Melguizo; his wife Ahydee Melguizo; his daughters, Liliana Giusto (Paul) of Southwick and Alexandra Stevenson (Gregg) of West Springfield; his grandchildren, Nicholas Giusto (Nicole Chin), Lucas Giusto, Ella Stevenson and Abuelito; and his siblings, Guillermo, German, Jorge, Melania, Margarita, Dolly and Miryam. He is also survived by mother and 10 siblings.
A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Patrick Chapel of St. Jerome Church (169 Hampden St, Holyoke, MA 01040). A burial was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at the St. Thomas Cemetery (420 Kings Hwy, West Springfield, MA 01089).
