He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry E. Cowles and Ruth A. Cowles (Tuma); his wife Elizabeth Cowles (Ross); and his sister Shirley Hilton. He is survived by: his children, Shannon Carlson (Paul) of Lanesborough, Brooke Kratochvil (Dana) of Russell, Meaghan Cowles of Springfield and Tanner Cowles of Southwick; his grandchildren, Savannah, Brynja, Dylan, Cooper, Carter, Ophelia, Roman, Maxwell, Derick and Travis; his great grandchildren, Aria, Nadia, Kaelynne, Natalie and Mason; and his brother Aden (Kimberley). He is also survived by his many brothers and sisters in law and his beloved nieces and nephews.
