He was predeceased by: his wife Carol A. Surprenant (Hodgerny); his daughter Susan A. Langevin (LaFleche); his sister Theresa A. Papineau; and his parents, Eugene J. Surprenant and Marie Ann Surprenant (Poitras).
He is survived by: his children, Lisa L. Tucker (Patrick) of Southbridge, Robert G. Surprenant (Brenda) of Woonsocket, RI and Scott A. Surprenant (Deborah) of Southbridge; his stepsons, Ronald Davies (Vickie) of Brookfield and Donald Davies (Dale) of Spencer; his brothers, Raymond J. Surprenant of Utica, NY and George E. Surprenant of Camanche, IA; his friend Bill W.; and his granddaughter Jennifer Susan. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
