He was predeceased by: his parents, Leokardia Garbat Dembowski and Waclaw Dembowski; and his brother Peter. He is survived by: his wife Mary Hall Dembowski; his daughters, Charlie Anne Rudman, Sonyia LaRoe, Cindy Bissonnette, Jenilee Valis, Laura Lee Dembowski and Corina Dembowski; his grandchildren, Cierra, Emma, Noah, Kyle, Mikayla, Christopher, Amanda, Alex, Genesis, Olivebelle and Michael; and his siblings, Lidia Bousquet, Elizabeth Fournier, Barbara Beausoleil, Irene Nordman, Henry, John and George.
