Mercedes A. Merced Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mercedes A. Merced of Southbridge, Massachusetts, who passed away on January 15, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her siblings, Pedro Alicea, Adelaida Aponte and Georgina Rojas; and her mother Maria Aponte. She is survived by: her children, Alberto Merced of Southbridge, Lourdes Veber (Glen) of Southbridge, Yolanda Hatzidis (late Harry) of Southbridge, Nancy Jones (Todd) of Southbridge and Wanda Merced of Southbridge; her brother Hermogenes Aponte of Orocovis; and her grandchildren, Alexander Veber (Jennie), Sarah Veber, Jacob Veber, Noah Jones, Christopher Merced and Sophia Hatzidis.
A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's Church (263 Hamilton St, Southbridge, MA 01550).
