He was predeceased by: his grandson Kenneth Scheffler, Jr.; his siblings, Normand J. Capistrand, Doris Livernois and Vivian Chapdelaine; and his parents, Nazaire Capistrand and Imelda Capistrand (Paulhus).
He is survived by: his wife Nancy M. Capistrand (Czyzewski); his daughter Marcy A. Scheffler (Ken) of Dudley; his granddaughter Kiley Scheffler (Joshua Lima); his great grandchild Maddison Lima; and his sister-in-law Theresa Capistrand. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and godchildren.
