He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Ana I. Delgado (Crespo); his children, Edwin E. Delgado of Southbridge, Rafael Delgado of Southbridge, Juan C. Delgado (Denise) of Southbridge, Jorge L. Delgado (Anita) of Ware and Nilza I. Sylvestre (Richard) of Sturbridge; and his parents, Jesus Delgado and Valentina Delgado (Serrano). He was also cherished by eleven brothers and sisters; eleven grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
