He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira Barrus and Marjorie Theresa Barrus (Devaney). He is survived by: his wife Candace J. Barrus (Chor); his children, John P. Barrus (Diane LeBrun) of Deerfield and Patricia L. MacNeil (Bernard Guasp) of Southbridge; and his grandchildren, Joseph A. MacNeil, Joseph C. Barrus, Katelyn T. MacNeil, Joshua P. MacNeil, Danielle J. Croteau, Ashlee R. Barrus, Brittany L. Murphy, Marcus A. Guasp, Nicholas Guasp, Letrice Ford and Amy Beauchamp. He is also survived by 13 great grandchildren.
