She is survived by: her children, Jose Aponte of Southbridge, Pedro Aponte (Cruz Romero) of Worcester, Ramon Aponte (Melissa Schultz) of Oxford, Antonio Aponte (Jessica Santiago) of Sturbridge, Carlos Aponte (Lourdes) of Southbridge, Rafael Aponte (Maribel) of Kissimmee, FL, Teresa Aponte (Gabriel Rodriguez) of Indianapolis, IN, Maria Aponte of Dudley, Nereida Aponte of Southbridge, Carmen Aponte of Southbridge and Ana Aponte (Edgardo Ortiz) of Southbridge; her granddaughter Sandra Aponte of Indianapolis, IN; her daughter-in-law Winda Aponte of Southbridge; and her sisters, Carmen Melendez, Margarita Melendez and Juana Melendez. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
