He was predeceased by: his siblings, George Hultberg, Clement M. Hultberg, Grace C. Hultberg and Marjorie Larson; and his parents, George E. Hultberg and Olive Hilda Hultberg (Johnson).

He is survived by: his wife Merle E. Hultberg (Langway); his son Bryan E. Hultberg of Colorado; and also Grace Lynn Hultberg.
