He was predeceased by: his daughter Paula Champagne; his grandson Jeremy Gadbois; and his siblings, Charles Brodeur, Louis "Lefty" Brodeur, Ruth Powers and Lucille Royal.
He is survived by: his children, Kevin Brodeur (Kevin Miers) of Natchez, MS, Laurie Gadbois (William) of Brooklyn, CT and Melissa Blanchette (Thomas) of Oakham; his sister Pauline Beavis of Springfield; his grandchildren, William Gadbois, Jake Gadbois, Sera Gadbois, Cassia Gadbois-Bloomberg (Shane, Tara Fafard), Chad Fafard and Kali Champagne; and his son Joseph Hector. He is also survived by ten great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
