He was predeceased by: his parents, George Hurd and Thelma Hurd (Arsenault). He is survived by: his wife Lucy (Costa); his daughters, Tina Ouellet (Daniel) of Salem, MA and June Hurd (Yannick Rivard) of Drummondville; his grandchildren, Cynthia, Jesse, Alex and Gary; his great grandchildren, Skylar, Noah and Jonah; and his siblings, George Hurd (Pamela) and Patricia Collins (Steve). He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
