He was predeceased by: his son Kenneth Trogolo. He is survived by: his children, Laura Gibson (Peter), Jeffrey Trogolo (Julia) and J. Michael Trogolo (Kathryn); and his stepdaughters, Allison Moore (John Loewen) and Holly Brown (Justin).

In lieu of flowers, donations are welcomed to UMass Memorial Health, where John received excellent care.
