She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Knowlton and Gertrude Knowlton (Pyne); her husband David Williams Sr.; her brothers, Barry and Tony Knowlton; and her brother-in-law Dr. Kenneth Hildreth.

She is survived by: her sisters, Rosemary Hildreth and Nancy Mahoney (John); her children, Lori Warren (David), Donna Kent (Alec), Kathy Shanks (David), David Jr. Williams (Loretta) and Sally McIsaac (Paul); her grandchildren, Scott, Jennifer Warren, Christopher, Matthew, Brandon Shanks, Kevin, Timothy, Jenna Williams, Hannah and Finlay McIsaac; and her great grandchildren, Patrick, Katherine Warren, Claudia, Carmen Shanks, Nora, Benjamin Loveland, Eleanor and Harry Williams.

Visitation was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Morris-Johnston Funeral Home (40 Main St, Southborough, MA 01772). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Rose of Lima Church (244 W Main St, Northborough, MA 01532).

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Bright Focus Foundation for Alzheimer's research (http://www.brightfocus.com).

“Aunt Jan was at the heart of a wonderful family.. As a boy, I spent countless hours with her and Uncle Dave at their home in Narthborough. Aunt Jan taught me to love musicals. At her home I learned to sing the lyrics of these shows, and they have cheered and accompanied me throughout my life. She was a gift to all who knew her, and she will be very much missed..
