It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Daniel David Pearl of Southborough, Massachusetts, born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on August 14, 2024, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Daniel departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Daniel. Though Daniel may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Shelagh Ellman-Pearl; his daughter Lily Pearl; and his parents, Paul Pearl and Arlene (Levy).
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, September 29th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Concord Scout House (74 Walden St, Concord, MA 01742). During the Covid epidemic, Shelagh and Lily learned to give him hemodialysis at home, which proved much more comfortable for him and slowed the progression of his illness.
