He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard D. Spath Sr. and Patricia Spath (Trotman); and his sister Patricia E. Spath. He is survived by: his wife Joanne M. Spath (Bourke); his children, Joy McDowell (Douglas), Holly Snow (William), Audra Sneed, Shannon Day, Jeffrey Hannifan (Courtney Gagne) and William Hannifan (Alma Hernandez); his grandchildren, Trinity McDowell, Preston Hannifan, Jameson Spath, Heidi Sneed, Ivy Sneed, Charles Sneed, Cody Snow, Ryder Snow, Abel Day and Cecily Hannifan; and his brothers, Les Spath (Joanne), Glen Spath (Brenda) and James Spath (Susan).
