William G. Anderson Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 5, 2024, at the age of 88, William G. Anderson of Oak Bluffs, Massachusetts, born in Grand Haven, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Anderson and Elizabeth Anderson (Kamhout); his siblings, Margaret Gillard (Anderson) and Arthur Anderson; his wife Maureen; and his grandson William Anderson Farrissey.
He is survived by: his children, Dr. Kristen L. Anderson (Eric B. Wilds) of St. Pete Beach, William M. Anderson (Doreen Anderson) of Oak Bluffs, Katherine Anderson Farrissey of Oak Bluffs and Gretchen Anderson (Benjamin Hall, Jr.) of West Tisbury; his grandchildren, Matt Stamas, David Stamas (Erica), Andrew W. Farrissey (Maureen), Colleen Hickey (Patrick), Ian Thompson, William M. Anderson, Jr. (Stephanie), Astoria and Olympia Hall; and his great grandchildren, Jace, Noah Stamas, Liam, Emily Hickey and Anderson Farrissey. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Oak Grove Cemetery-Oak Bluffs.
Memorial donations can be made to Hospice of Cape Cod, the Portuguese American Club or a charity of one's choice.
