He was predeceased by: his wife Ellen Veiga (Capezzuto); his parents, Charles Veiga and Florence Veiga (Cooper); his siblings, Charles, Kenneth Veiga and Valarie Vitale; his granddaughter Cara Marsi; and his great grandchild Ashton Edward Marsi.

He is survived by: his children, Cheryl Wilkins (Tom) of Beverly, Denise Brown (William) of Abington and William D. Veiga Jr. (Kelly) of Winthrop; and his grandchildren, Miranda and Anthony Marsi.
