He was predeceased by: his parents, Santo Chines and Lucy Chines (Fazio); his wife Mariena Chines (Gerokoulis); his son Peter Santo Chines; his sister Mary Bettinelli (Chines); and his close friends, Angel and Bella.
He is survived by: his children, Anthony Chines (Lynn) of Mashpee, MA and Maria Claffey (George) of Newington, CT; his grandchildren, Ryan and Caitlin; and his siblings, Peter Chines (Susan) of Haverhill, MA and Martha Giovenelli of Naples, FL..
A funeral service was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Dello Russo Funeral Home (306 Main St, Medford, MA 02155).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent in Salvatore's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Memorials Processing, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
