Robert P. Gately Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert P. Gately of South Yarmouth, Massachusetts, born in Charlestown, Massachusetts, who passed away on May 11, 2023 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Gately and Mary Gately (Kennedy); and his son Robert P. Gately. He is survived by: his wife Ruth; his children, Jeanne E. Williams (late Al) of West Bridgewater, David E. Gately (Mary) of Maynard and Debra R. Gately of Nantucket; his grandchildren, Patricia M. Fanara (Nate), Robert P. Gately, Jeffrey D. Gately, David A. Williams (Ashley Burke) and Elizabeth M. Williams; his brother Philip Gately (Florence) of Peabody; his sister-in-law Dorothy Oldroyd of Sudbury; and his niece Karen Fedorchak.
