We are sad to announce that on October 6, 2020, at the age of 90, Richard E. West of South Yarmouth, Massachusetts, born in Hampden, Maine passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Richard E. West to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest E. West and Geneva A. West (Sparrow); and his sibling Beauford M. LaLiberte. He is survived by: his wife Ferne Marie West (Boynton); his daughters, Maureen G. McArdle (Robert) of Seekonk and Dianne P. West of Cumberland, RI.; and his grandchildren, Daniel McArdle (Grace Chute) of Weymouth, Gregory Burk of Newport, RI, Melynda Flanagan (Mathew) of North Franklin, CT and Melanie McArdle of Staten Island, NY.. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Those attending are asked to go directly to the cemetery and please arrive by 9:00 A.M. Due to the limitation of flowers allowed at the National Cemetery, Richard's family has requested that donations in his memory be made to the New England Center and Home for Veterans, 17 Court St., #2601, Boston, MA 02108.
