With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Regina E. (Byrne) Burkinshaw of South Yarmouth, Massachusetts, who passed away on July 28, 2022. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Regina E. (Byrne) Burkinshaw to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Annie (Morley) and Patrick Byrne of Co; her husband Walter "Buddy" Burkinshaw; her daughter Regina Burrows of Scituate; her grandson Cameron Haig of Marstons Mills; her siblings, Mary Burke, John, Vincent and Joseph Byrne; and her close friends, Thelma Collins, Margie Sullivan and Jackie Maguire.
She is survived by: her children, Peter Burkinshaw of South Yarmouth, Ann O'Sullivan of Sagamore Beach and Mary Burkinshaw of Marstons Mills; her grandchildren, Meaghan, Sarah, Christopher and Conor; and her great grandchildren, Aidan, Phoebe, Ethan and William. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, cousins and extended family.
In lieu of flowers Jeanie requests that you make a donation to The Animal Rescue League of Boston in memory of her childhood dog, an Airedale named Brownie and in memory of all the ponies, dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters and other pets that Jeanie loved throughout her life.
