She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Valente and Angelique Valente; her husband Robert "Bob"; and her sister Cathy Curie. She is survived by: her sons, Jason West (Abby Newberry) and John West (Lindsay); her granddaughters, Taliah, Juliah and Adeline; and her siblings, Virginia and Pascale "Cal". She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Chapman Funerals & Cremations - Harwich (678 Main St, Harwich, MA 02645).

“I'm so very sorry to hear this very sad news. Although I didn't personally know Paula; we shared the same passionate love for rescue dogs from Westside German Shepherd Rescue. We chatted through Facebook and created our own "family" and shared our joy and sorrow of our furry families. She will be greatly missed.
