She was predeceased by: her parents, Irene Rumph and Fred Rumph; and her brother Francis Allen Rumph. She is survived by: her husband John Hobbie; her brother Lawrence Cameron of Falmouth; her sons, Lawrence Hobbie (Layna) of Plainview, Erik Hobbie (Alison) of Exeter and David Hobbie (Jeanne) of Acton; her grandchildren, Jacob Hobbie (Camila Flowerman), Julia Hobbie, Clara Hobbie (Keenan Ronayne) and Lana Hobbie; her stepgranddaughter Jane Kleiner (Ralph); and also, Danny and Nathan.
Donations in her honor may be made to Falmouth Academy's "Olivann Hobbie Fund for Financial Aid.".
