It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Stone of South Yarmouth, Massachusetts, born in Spartanburg, South Carolina, who passed away on August 13, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John B. Stone and Frances Stone; and his brothers, John, Alan and Francis Stone.
He is survived by: his wife Gail Stone (Insley); his daughters, Kara Stone and Leah Rockwell; his son-in-law Corey Rockwell; his grandsons, Logan and Nolan Rockwell; and his siblings, Kevin, Paul Stone and Sandra Hines. He is also survived by several nephews and nieces.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Yarmouth Recreation Department, 1146 Rt. 28 South Yarmouth, MA 02664 to support scholarships so all children can share in the joy of sports.
