It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marie Alves in South Yarmouth, Massachusetts, born in Manchester, New Hampshire, who passed away on March 25, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her son Eric Kendrick; her former husband Norman Kendrick; her husband David Alves; her friend Malcolm Adamson; and her siblings, Andrew Duval, Fernan Duval, Phillip Duval, Norman Duval, Lucian Duval, Teri Leoniatis and Claire Sallies.
She is survived by: her children, Mark Kendrick (Susan) of Hampden, MA, Gary Kendrick of Palmer, MA, Linda Colgan (Matthew) of New London, NH and Brenda Kendrick of Hyannis, MA; her grandson Joshua Kendrick (Leah) of East Longmeadow, MA; her children, Timothy Kendrick (Nina) of West Suffield, CT, Christopher Colgan (Megan) of Newport, NH, Jennifer Colgan of Fort Myers, FL and Ross Kendrick of Ware, MA.; her great grandchildren, Angelica Kendrick, Kristin Kendrick, Caleb Kendrick, Jonathan Kendrick, Katelyn Kendrick, Madelyn Kendrick, Connor Colgan and Hazelle Kendrick; and her sister Margie Gosselin of Manchester, NH.
A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Saint Pius X Church (98 Station Ave, South Yarmouth, MA 02664).
