He was predeceased by: his parents, John Sydney and Christine Crossen Kohr; his daughter Janet; and his sister Marian O'Neill. He is survived by: his wife Laura; and his daughter-in-law Deborah. He is also survived by nine loving grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
