He is survived by: his wife Catherine M. Toomey (Bates); his children, Pamela L. Doody (Andrew) of Bourne, Theresa C. Kearney (Neal) of Abington, Sandra L. Mullett (Michael) of Westbrook, ME, John J. Toomey Jr. (Jill) of West Yarmouth and Matthew C. Toomey (Jessica) of Jacksonville, FL; his siblings, Kenneth Toomey (Barbara) of Woburn and Judith Morrissette (Paul) of Worcester; his grandchildren, Austin, Jarred Doody, Evan, Charles, Joseph, Marin Kearney, Madeline, Cooper, Sydney Mullett, John James III, Nicole, Alexandra, Oakman Toomey and Erin Toomey; his great grandchild Judah Toomey; his aunt Cathy; and his uncle John. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
