With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John A Hollingsworth (South Yarmouth, Massachusetts), born in Peabody, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 17, 2024 at the age of 97. He was predeceased by: his parents, Tynne Hollingsworth (Kushmick) and Jack Hollingsworth; and his former wife Nancy. He is survived by: his wife Dotty; his children, Pam Hollingsworth of Dennis Port, MA, Jack Hollingsworth (Shannon) of Austin, TX and Ken Hollingsworth (Sandra) of Franklin, NH; his grandchildren, Brian Hurley (Dennis Port), Scott Hollingsworth of Manchester, NH, Eric Hollingsworth (SooHee) of Somerville, MA, Emma and Audrey Hollingsworth of Austin, TX; and his great grandchild Ava Hollingsworth.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts can be made to the Reading Scholarship Foundation to create an annual "John Hollingsworth Scholarship".
