Joan Marie Sive Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joan Marie Sive in South Yarmouth, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 9, 2024 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Joan Marie has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Rosa Goodfellow and Horace Goodfellow; and her husband Eugene B. Sive, MD. She is survived by: her stepfather Donald Wolbert; her caregiver Joan; her children, Jonathan Sive, Liana Sive, Valerie Sive-Ramirez and Barkley Sive; and her pet Chopin. She is also survived by her children, stepchildren, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
