It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James B Donovan (South Yarmouth, Massachusetts), born in Brockton, Massachusetts, who passed away on July 18, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Joseph and Margaret Donovan (Pendergast); his wife Patricia Donovan (Hoxie); and his siblings, J. Edward, Joseph T., George L., Rev. William F., Helen M. Sheehan, Marguerite M. Gabrick, Mary J. Donovan, Ann L. Duffy and Dorothy R. Donovan.
He is survived by: his children, Michael W. Donovan (Elinor) of West Yarmouth, Kathleen P. Bierch (Paul) of Worcester and Patrick J. Donovan (Denise Ferreira) of Attleboro; his sister Alice Ashmore (Thomas); and his close friend Frances Malone. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
