He was predeceased by: his grandmother Magdolna Menyhart; and his great-grandparents, Anna Erdei (Reviczki), Peter Erdei, Maria Nagy (Fuleki) and Laszlo Nagy.

He is survived by: his parents, Gabor Menyhart and Timea Menyhart; his sisters, Sophie and Lilly; and his grandparents, Geza Daniel Menyhart, Ildiko Erdei and Maryellen Leonard. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and loving relatives.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Erik Menyhart Memorial Scholarship Fund supporting aspiring youth violinists and sailors.
